AGRIPOP Telescopic hydrant down in the ground, studied for mounting on underground distribution lines of low pressure irrigation systems. The top of the closed hydrant is placed 50 cm below the ground level in order to permit a free soil tillage. It raise up with water pressure of the system. Once that the hydrant top is out, it needs to insert a sprinkler riser and than can irrigate normally according the seasonal requirements. At the end of the season, after the removing of the sprinkler riser, with a simple manual push down, the telescopic hydrant goes back into own seat to stay at 50 cm dept from top of the soil; the ground is therefore free from any hindrance for any tillage.

ADVANTEGES

The AGRIPOP hydrant permits:

• a considerable manpower saving for normal tillage: ploughing, harrowing, in-crop chemigation, seeding, harvesting, etc., allowing to make use of every kind of agricultural equipment;
• to eliminate the uncultivated area and the weeds growing around the fixed risers;
• to exploit completely the field areas;
• to avoid accidental breaking of irrigation system while working with farming machines, and consequently saving in maintenance and management.

The AGRIPOP hydrant can be utilized for every kind of crops and irrigation system at low and medium discharge; moreover can be disassembled and inspected at any time without open the distribution lines.

It is the best to complete the irrigation in the external area not irrigated by pivots.

CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS The AGRIPOP hydrant is constituted by: • high sturdy plastic plug with calibrated holes for water discharge; • inox steel hydrant top with bayonet catch for sprinkler riser; • inox steel riser anti adherent for an easy push down; • inox steel retaining ring to hold the wiper seal; • special wiper seal for a perfect hydraulic closure to maintain clean the riser during thepushing down; • galvanized steel hydrant body, or in PVC or inox steel; • galvanized, tared, PVC or inox steel doubled coupler for pipe diameters from 75 and up; • the hydrant AGRIPOP is soil moisture proof.
